People usually drag tension around with them like heavy luggage, which only makes us more exhausted than usual. On the next Radox Life’s a Journey show we learn a few fun ways to say goodbye and good riddance to this unnecessary tension.
We leave our South African shores for the magnificent Royal Livingstone hotel in Zambia, which comes complete with the sounds of a roaring Victoria Falls in the background. Just listening to the rush of the falls is enough to settle your nerves, but it seems laughter is a good way to relax too.
Believe it or not, we get a chance to talk to laughter expert, Janine Grobler, who sheds light on the tension-relieving benefits that giggles can bring. It is also good to note that 20 minutes of laughter is equivalent to 10 minutes on an exercise machine. That certainly sounds more appealing than the treadmill!
The darling of South Africa, Evita Bezuidenhout whips up a meal and explains the importance of laughter in letting go of tension.
Presenters Stephen Segal and Zuraida Jardine also take on the challenge of bungee jumping. And that is certainly a moment to witness!
Be sure not to miss this and more, only on Life’s A Journey on Wednesday, 19 May on SABC 3 at 8pm.
